JOHN W. FAGERHOLM
John W Fagerholm, Esq. is the managing partner of the Firm. He gained his experience with a litigation law firm and with a high profile entertainment law firm before opening up Fagerholm & Jefferson Law Corporation. His background is in business and entrepreneurship. He has owned several businesses before becoming an attorney, including a car buying business, a kick boxing studio, a mortgage company, and escrow company, a night club, and a convalescent home. Mr. Fagerholm practices in the areas of entertainment and business law, including entertainment and business litigation, corporate structures, new media, and real estate. He represents several prominent clients in their film, television, music, print media, fashion, electronic media, and real estate matters. He currently writes articles and acts as a commentator for several monthly Internet and hardcopy magazines on subjects related to business and legal matters in the entertainment industry. He also is involved in local politics, youth sports, and several charitable causes. Mr. Fagerholm has an undergraduate degree in sociology from the University of Washington and a Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law. He attended Law School after receiving the prestigious Schumacher Scholarship and graduated from the accelerated two year SCALE program.
Richard B. Jefferson, Esq. has extensive experience in Entertainment Law, Business Law, and Intellectual Property Law. He has been involved in the Entertainment industry for many years, primarily fulfilling the business and legal affairs component for small to medium-sized companies.
He began his legal career working in-house at Virgin Records America, Inc. where he routinely interacted with the high profile artists and companies that were part of the Virgin family, such as Janet Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, Tina Turner, Blackground Records (Aaliyah, Tank), Smashing Pumpkins, Beanie Man, John Lee Hooker, N.E.R.D. (The Neptunes), Guru, D’Angelo, Rap-A-Lot Records (Scarface, Ghetto Boys). Thereafter, Mr. Jefferson worked with a boutique Entertainment Law firm that represented a wide range of high profile company and talent clients in music, film, television, fashion, and new media including the conglomeration of companies owned by hip hop pioneer Master P.
Mr. Jefferson has a dual degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law where he graduated from the accelerated two year SCALE Program.

Dirocie, Esq. has extensive experience in the entertainment industry from both the
creative and business perspectives. Creatively, she has been responsible
for a myriad of duties in the industry, such as hiring composers and recording
artists for movie soundtracks, overseeing recording sessions, finding and
creating songs for licensing opportunities, and editing music to adapt for
different needs. She continues to work closely with music supervisors
and music directors in the industry. Ms.
Dirocie has represented both companies (Sony-BMG, No Limit Records) and talent (Master P, Lil Romeo, Silkk
The Shocker, C-Murder, Trick Daddy, and Trina) in recording, production,
label, distribution, and licensing deals. She routinely places music in
television and film projects and soundtracks with E Entertainment, Universal
Pictures, Sony Pictures, HBO, and Disney (“Any Given Sunday”,
“Big Mommas House 2", “The Shield", "Entourage").
She has also licenses music to the gaming industry, placing music in
video games such as NFL Blitz, Street Hoops, and NBA Live. She also performs transactional work in other areas of entertainment industry, including television, print, new media, and fashion.
